People always as me where I get my inspiration for my recipes. A lot of it actually comes from travelling. Being exposed to different cultures and cuisines always sparks a new idea in my head. Today I want to share a recipe with you guys that was developed by a dear foodie friend of mine.
This unique recipe comes from my Capetown bestie Savannah, who is a passionate foodie herself! We met early 2020 in a Superfood Café and it was basically friendship love at first sight. Savannah inspires me with her wholesome recipes and her approach to life! I have had the pleasure of cooking with her already a couple of times and her creativity in the kitchen is next level. Also she probably has the best selection of health and fitness cookbooks at her house that I have ever seen. Savannah shoots quite a bit of food content for brands as well. We spent a weekend away from Capetown in a beautiful villa and Savannah volunteered to make breakfast smoothies for everyone. This is the recipe she came up with:
Aphrodisiac Smoothie
Zutaten
- 1 l oat milk chocolate if you have
- 2 tsp raw cacao powder
- 1/2 can Coconut cream
- 2 Frozen banana
- 2 scoops Plant protein powder
- 3 dates
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Tahini
- Pinch of sea salt
Toppings
- cacao nibs
- berries
Anleitungen
- Blend everything in a good blender.
- Top with cacao nibs and berries.
